What was the scientific revolution? Why was it important? The scientific revolution was an important time period that came to be known for the smartest of scientist that invented all types of things. The scientific revolution was the birth of modern science. With all the scientists and other important people like Galileo, Isaac Newton, and Tycho Brahe. These people invented and came up with new ideas every day.
     For example, Galileo was known for trying to teach that the sun was the center of the universe and everything revolved around it. Church officials did not let him continue teaching because it was not the way of the church like how Aristotle's writings had shown. Isaac Newton came up with four laws. They became laws because he was able to prove them. Tycho Brahe invented the telescope which would later make one of the best known devices for studying astronomy.
