One day, someone discovered that Iron could be melted and formed in other shapes. Africans discovered that they could make tools that would help them. When this happened, people all over the world wanted to trade with them for their tools made of iron, or just plain iron.
Later, they discovered that the iron could be formed into weapons and sharp objects for battle. Going into the next battle, they had a bigger and better army, just because of their iron weapons. People then all over the world started making weapons out of iron.
If they hadn't figured out that iron was so valuable for making weapons and neccesary tools, people today would still be wondering how and what iron was for. People Have the ability to make things so they can share in the future with all of us. Once people make things they share them nd all around the world, people make things so that one day it will make a huge impact on the world. Not knowing that the discovery of iron shaped into sharp objects, weapons, or tools, people discovered that once they would share something it would go into the new world.

In case you don't know the four Africa terrain's, they are: Sahel  rain forest, desert, and. I think that the hardest terrain to live on would be the desert, because the Sahel separates the desert from the wetter areas. In the desert, you would have to go without water for as long you can last until you can find water. Once you have found water, you try to refill every bottle you can find because it will be a long way until you find more.
I think the easiest place to live would be the Sahel  because it isn't entirely dry like the desert. There's also many animals grazing on the grass. Since, the Sahel separates the desert from the wetter areas, it is easiest to live, because in the desert there is no water. In the rain forest, there is tons of water, but for food, it is harder to get since there are different animals that are "non edible".

How did trade help get the word out to people about the new religion of Islam? One way we know this happened, is when people went out to trade many things were discovered. Like, paper and gunpowder from China. Things were widely spread through trade routes. Many things including, religions, languages, and social beliefs, and just the regular gossip, where widely spread around provinces and cities, because of the reade routes.
Many people were terrified or delighted of the trade routes, because if you were a regular person that wanted paper and then didn't know how to make it then after people  found out  how to make paper, the Chinese were terrified and no one traded paper with them anymore because everyone knew how to make it. In this case, Islam was helped spread widely around the world because of trade routes, no one dissapointed because everyone wanted to know about the religion.

I think that one of the most challenging pillars is the fourth one where you have to fast. Muslims have to wake up early every day to eat a feast and go the rest of the day without eating or drinking anything. They can only eat when the sun is down and it's not showing. They must go days like this until the holiday is over.
I also think that the second pillar is hard. The second pillar is Muslims must pray five times a day. The reason I think that is hard is because when you are busy or are at a store or somewhere important, you have to wash your hands and feet in order to be clean so you can pray. You also have to immediately stop what you're doing and pray. The praying times are: noon, afternoon, sunset, evening, and before they go to bed.

Muhammad, was a regular man who became to make a widely spread religion, Islam.
One day, Muhammad set out to a cave in Mecca to meditate, and when he got there an angel said he needed to recite. Muhammad was worried and went home. There, he had told his wife Khadija about what he had seen. His wife believed him and went to go spread the word. Once people knew about it many were running to him asking what were the angels saying. Many other people did not like this, like the merchants. Muhammad had said they should donate to the poor. The merchants wanted all that was theirs to themselves and threatened to kill him. Scared, he left Mecca with a group of his followers, and stayed at Medina.
He was forced to stay there, but this made more followers. Later, the people from Mecca decided to let him back. He went back to find that more people accepted his religion, later Islam became the main religion of Muslims.

I have been asked to join a caravan where you will be free. The journey is said to be rough when crossing the dessert, but  it'll be worth the journey. The journey will take a few months, by carriage. I have no clue whether to go or not. I guess I will have to think about it on my own...
I decided not to go, because their could be a chance I may never make it! I have not been trained to be in rough terrain or weather. I am not used to living that way. If I was used to it or had been trained, then maybe I would be joining the caravan. I am just not ready, I can not afford my loved ones to lose me, just for the freedom I have wanted my whole life. My little sister needs someone to look up to, and if I'm not around she'll run into bad habits, and I can't let that happen. I can not think of this anymore I shall be leaving...

Last week in History, (core) we did a simulation. I got to be one of the provinces trading goods to the Romans. Although, I wish I could have been a Goth, which they got to fight the provinces and then the Romans. They described it as being awesome and cool, I agree, they got to take over the Roman Empire. They fought with us and then if they won we had to give them our goods and flip over our sign, which was like if they took over our province and stole all our goods. Then when all of the provinces were killed they continued their adventure to win the Roman Empire.
It was really fun. I was the province of Spain and we sold Mercury, which helped the sick get better. It was like medicine. We didn't get to trade a lot, so we got killed easily. The Romans had to make sure not to get too many from each place or then, they wouldn't have enough army to fight the Goths. In the end, they still didn't have enough army to fight off the Goths, and they were overtaken.

Today, is the eleventh anniversary of the 9-11 tragedy. I don't know much about 9-11 but I do know that it was one of the biggest terroist attack. Al-Qaeda the terroist group that hijacked four planes and tried to target the World Trade Center, the Arsenal Base, the Twin Towers, and the White House. The white house was a target but the plain targetted for their crashed by the people on the plane fought back and didn't let the terroists on the plane take over. The terrorists crashed into the twin towers killing thousands of people. At this time, eleven years ago I still didn't know what was going on in the world at that time. None of my family was no where near there when this happened and I can't even imagine what life would be like if one of my family members was killed.

When it comes around to the presidential elections I have two feelings. First, I want to know who will be president, the same president or someone different. Then, I feel so annoyed sometimes because on television they usually take off shows just for that and repeatedly they show who is in the lead. When, it comes to annouce who is president then is when I care, but through out the voting I could care less. All that matters to me is to know who is president. Other people think they need to be watching whats going on with the presidential elections, but I just chose to not care. Maybe in the future I will care more but right now I really don't care about the presidential elections.
