How can you tell if your cells are inside of you working? One way is when you sweat, when you sweat your body is trying to cool you down and the way it does this is by sweating. Just the same way as when you shiver, your body is cold and it's trying to get warm. The muscles shiver when they are trying to get your body warm. 
     You cannot feel your cells, because they are microscopic. The only way you can see them is under a microscope.  If you could see your cells everyday, you would be able to know when you were being attacked by bacteria, sick. The bacteria that makes you sick clings to your cells and tries to hold on for as long as possible, and if they don't come off, you get sick. When, you sneeze or cough, your body is trying to let all the bacteria out so you can get better. Even though you cannot see your cells, you can tell they are working whenever you sweat, shiver, cough, or sneeze.

     My parents both have given me traits, but I tend to get more traits from my dad's side of the family. They both give me some traits, like height  and hair color. My mom's side of the family didn't give me so much, just not so good eyesight. My dad's side of the family gave me eye color, legs, skin color, and bloody noses. Some traits weren't so good but they don't affect me much and I'm fine the way I am. My sisters don't have much in common with me. The things we have in common are only our height and skin color. I mostly get the looks from my dad's side of the family. If you looked at my family, you might not think we're related as family, because my family doesn't have much in common. But, we are family even if we don't look alike.
 
      How do you find the volume of an irregular shape? First, you have to find the volume of the whole shape without its missing or added parts. Then, after you do that you have to make sure to get the volume of that missing or added part, and then if it's an added you add it to your first volume, and if it's a missing part you are going to have to subtract it un order to get the actual volume. 
      For example, say there is an object 3 by 5 by 10 and a missing part of 10 by 5. First, you're going to have to multiply 3 by 5 by 10. After you have done that, you will multiply 10 by 5 and whatever you get you will subtract it from the first volume you got. If there is more missing parts, you're going to do the same. Say there is the same shape, with two parts missing  of 10 by 5. First, you get the volume of the whole original shape then, find out what 10 by 5 is and add it to each other. Then you will get the answer to the problem.
 
    In science lab, we are learning about the metric system. Centimeters, meters, millimeters, make up the metric system. Scientist usually use the metric system. The metric system can be used to measure things of any size, even water. They help scientist measure things without having to use inches or yards or kilometers. That way if something is too small then it can be easily measured by the metric system. Centimeters are most commonly used because sometimes things aren't as big as inches. Millimeters are used because sometimes centimeters are to big to measure with. When centimeters and millileters are too small to measure with scientist use meters. 
    We have also been reviewing volume. Volume helps scientist measure the inside of an object. Like a box, say the length is 3 feet, width is 4 feet, and height is 3 feet, the volume of the box is going to be 36 feet. Since, we use the metric system we won't be using feet.
